Authorities have levied a hefty fine on Jayabheri Constructions belonging to leading film actor and former MP Murali Mohan. Authorities have fined Jayabheri Constructions Rs 1.5 crore for allegedly constructing buildings in Kunchanapally adjoining Amravati.
Jayabheri Constructions, which bought 7 acres and 5 cents of land in Kunchanapally, next to the national highway, started construction in 2016. However, this is agricultural land and construction is underway on it. The present government has initiated action against Jayabheri Constructions for non-compliance with the regulations.
Jayabheri Constructions has been ordered to pay Rs 1 crore and another Rs 50 lakh as a penalty for constructing structures against the rules. It is reported that the fine was paid by Jayabheri Constructions.
