The Andhra Pradesh High Court has given the green signal for ration door delivery in Andhra Pradesh. The High Court stayed the SEC orders to change the color of the ration vehicles. The court said the interim orders would remain in effect until March 15. The next hearing was adjourned to March 15. The Civil Supplies Commissioner has filed a suit challenging the orders issued by the SEC.
Meanwhile, the Civil Supplies Department took immediate action for ration door delivery with the latest orders of the High Court. Arrangements in the districts are being reviewed by superiors. Despite the election code, ration door delivery will now take place in rural areas as well.
