AP High Court Questions Government’s Stand On Rushikonda!

It is known that the Andhra Pradesh government is adamant about developing the shore city Vizag as the executive capital of the state under the three capitals idea. No matter what the Amaravati farmers and the opposition parties are saying, the ruling party YSRCP wants to go ahead.

With the government focusing on the city, the alleged irregularities are coming out slowly. Recently, the popular Telugu newspaper Eenadu shed light on the alleged irregularities in the Daspalla land deals and the housing project involving Vizag MP MVV Satyanarayana.

Yet again, the alleged Rushikondi Hill row reached the High Court of Andhra Pradesh. Hearing a petition, the court made some serious comments and said the behavior of the government raised doubt that the government might be hiding something.

The court asked why the Andhra Pradesh government is objecting to inspection by the Ministry of Forest. The High Court also asked what the government has to say about the alleged violations in mining in the region.

Talking about the road maps, the court asked the government’s counsel if the road maps are also saying lies. Giving the example of padayatras, the court asked why the government is stopping padayatras for development.

The government counsel sought some time from the High Court to file an affidavit in this regard with all the details. With this, the next hearing was posted on the 3rd of November. Based on the details mentioned in the affidavit, the court will hear the case.
