Andhra Pradesh has risen from zero cases two weeks ago to 10 cases very swiftly. With the new addition, the total number of cases that are tested positive for Coronavirus (Covid-19) is 10.
While one new case is registered in Vijayawada, the second new case erupted in Guntur. The first patient was a Male who has returned from Washington to Delhi on March 20th was first tested and later discharged on March 21st.
He then got back to Vijayawada and went to hospital as he was suffering with few symptoms. There he was tested positive. The other patient is a Male as well who has returned to Vijayawada from Delhi after participating in a religious even.
He then went to Guntur by car. Here he was tested positive. Whereas, the second patient has come in contact with almost 22 people already.
Efforts are being made to identify these 22 people so that they can be tested and quarantined as soon as possible. This is the reason the Governments are stressing so much on social distancing.
It is not only harmful for that person but also 1 infected patient can knowingly or unknowingly transmit the virus to 1,000 people easily.
