Apple has officially introduced the latest iteration of the iPad Air, now powered by the advanced M3 chip, delivering significant improvements in speed, graphics, and AI-driven capabilities. The refreshed lineup, announced today, is available in two size options—11-inch and 13-inch—offering users greater flexibility and enhanced productivity.

Unparalleled Performance with M3
The M3 chip brings a substantial performance boost, making the new iPad Air nearly twice as fast as its predecessor with the M1 chip and up to 3.5 times faster than older models powered by the A14 Bionic chip. Equipped with an 8-core CPU that is 35% faster than the M1 and a 9-core GPU delivering 40% improved graphics performance, the iPad Air (M3) is designed for seamless multitasking, high-performance gaming, and professional-grade applications.

Apple has also integrated a significantly faster Neural Engine, now delivering 60% better performance, enhancing AI-driven features such as advanced photo editing, handwriting recognition, and intelligent note-taking. With hardware-accelerated ray tracing, the M3 chip further elevates gaming and creative workflows by providing realistic lighting, reflections, and shadows.

Enhanced Productivity and Accessories
The new iPad Air models are designed to support Apple’s latest ecosystem of accessories, including the redesigned Magic Keyboard and the Apple Pencil Pro, providing a desktop-like experience with precision and versatility. Running on iPadOS 18, the devices benefit from advanced AI-powered tools that refine writing, improve photo editing, and enhance user interactions with Siri.

Bob Borchers, Apple’s Vice President of Worldwide Product Marketing, emphasized the iPad Air’s appeal:
“iPad Air is so popular because of its unmatched combination of powerful performance, portability, and support for advanced accessories, all at an affordable price.”

Pricing and Availability
The iPad Air (M3) starts at ₹59,900 for the 11-inch variant and ₹79,900 for the 13-inch model. Pre-orders begin today, with official sales commencing on March 12.

With a powerful new chip, cutting-edge AI features, and an expanded accessory lineup, the iPad Air (M3) is set to redefine the mid-range tablet experience, delivering professional-grade performance in a sleek and portable design.
