The AP government is not at all letting state people to hear the word ‘development’ over the past few months. What all are hearing is Debts.. Debts and Debts. Now this sound has spread over several kilometres and the whole nation is discussing about the sad plight of our state.
CBN really ruined the state with the Amaravati stories in his five-year term and has increased the debt of 90 thousand crore rupees to two and a half lakh rupees in his reign. It is unknown at this time what he had done with that money, but before Naidu left home as AP’s former chief minister, AP treasury had only 100 crores.
Then Jagan came to power. Now, the opposition Telugu Desam is criticizing that the YSRCP government has already incurred debts of Rs 97,000 crore in 15 months. And now the world is impoverished. Nowhere does the currency move with the corona threat intact to people’s lives. With that, the Center also raised the EPRBM limit and waved a green flag, saying that it should also take loans.
So far, states like AP have been able to borrow only 3.5 per cent of their GDP. With this facility you can bring in more than five per cent debt. Thus the AP government was entitled to borrow another 20k to 50k crores. In the wake of these developments, Minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy has started the hunt for new debts and the news is out that Nirmala Sitharaman also responded well.
Now, the entire nation is very surprised with the guts of Jagan’s government and their ease in talking debts. No other state in the country required that amount of debts except Andhra Pradesh and still no development has been visible to the people as that disastrous economic state is still being maintained by the AP government most successfully than any other state.
It is up to Jagan whether he wants to sail the submerged ship or still wants to sink it to the ground with his obsession for freebies.
