Well, the united Andhra Pradesh has been bifurcated and made into Telangana where the capital is Hyderabad and Andhra Pradesh where is the capital region is proposed but not he name. However, there are many interesting names that are coming into play.
First of all is Amaravathi. Before this they wanted to name the capital as Thullur which was 30 kms away from Amaravathi but the Andhra Pradesh state government almost confirmed that the capital name will not be as Thullur instead another name.
So, the topic of naming that Andhra Pradesh capital turns hotter. However, the other option is Guntur which is quite far but also a part of the options. However, the name Amaravathi has got its own world-wide significance and so that would be more apt.
