A 24 years old person from Nellore, who recently returned from Italy, showed symptoms of Corona Virus. On joining in the government hospital, the initial test conducted by Sri Venkateshwara Institute of Medical Sciences, showed positive result. This turned to be a sensation in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
To conform the test result, doctors in Nellore sent the samples to NIV Pune. Dr PV Ramesh, who has been the additional chief secretary for the anti-Corona team stated that this person might be the first Covid-19 case in Andhra Pradesh. The test results from Pune are yet to be revealed.
This person has been in Nellore for the last 2 weeks and as the symptoms are similar to Corona and are getting worse day by day, he was taken to the hospital. Officials were advising all the people to stay isolated and prevent the spread of the virus. Stay hygiene and stay safe.
