Are Dil Raju’s Comments Because Of Anger Or For Promotions?

Star producer Dil Raju has been in the news a lot lately. He is being criticized a lot for releasing the dubbed version of his Tamil venture ‘Varisu’ during the same time when two biggies like ‘Waltair Veerayya’ and ‘Veera Simha Reddy’ are getting released. Also, there are complaints about him using his influence and booking more theatres for his own film rather than giving the screens equally to all three. He gave all his answers on ‘Open Heart With RK’ and producing has made some more interesting comments recently.

He said, “All the theatre issues will be sorted in January 1st week only, until then, there will be no clear pictures. But because Varasudu is my own production, surely I’ll position the film in all the best theatres I’ve in hand.” He claims that he will be releasing ‘Varasudu’ in all the 35 theatres he owns in Uttarandhra while there are a total of 154 theatres in that area. Talking about the comments made by the Producers Council, he stated, “To become a hero in the film industry, everyone is going to media and targeting me. I wonder if they are targeting me because I’m a big glamorous.”

He added, “For example, the popular multiplex chain PVR is there. Whether it is a Dil Raju film or any other hero’s film, they will give theatres only based on their own will and process. Can anyone from the industry go and ask PVR why they are not giving enough screens? They won’t.”

Dil Raju would have brought Vijay or Rashmika to promote ‘Varasudu’ but he is handling it all by himself at the moment. Some of the netizens are suggesting that all the buzz around him is going to benefit the movie indirectly. With Dil Raju adamant to release ‘Varasudu’ on a grand scale, we need to see how things shape up in the coming days.
