Undoubtedly “Fidaa” is turning out to be that coolest hit of the year with only content of the film speaking big time rather anything else. Sekhar Kammula’s way of interweaving cutest moments into a story, riveting performance from Sai Pallavi and the staggering presence of Varun Tej made this film a smashing hit.
Trade circles are saying that Allu Arjun’s sweet warning has worked big time and hence the collections are witnessing any downfall. Actually, producer Dil Raju never flaunts too much about collections but for his DJ Duvvada Jaganndaham from day-one, he’s talking numbers only. Much before completion of 1 week, they revealed that the film crossed 100 crores gross. All those revelations led to controversies and people started believing that he’s faking.
It’s heard that Allu Arvind advised him not to talk about collections as that is a wrong way of promoting a film. “Call a blockbuster, don’t promote the numbers. Talk about the positive points of the film, don’t criticise the critics. Promote your heroine in case if her name is bringing you attention, but don’t over promote the hero unnecessarily”, said Arvind to Dil Raju, in a closed-door meeting.
Taking this advice cum sweet warning in his pride, reportedly Raju didn’t speak about Fidaa’s collections anytime and that helped him a lot. People always got excited about the curiosity he’s raising and the film is now inching to 2 million dollars mark in the USA while it’s touching 30 crores share already in 10 days of running altogether.
