With each passing day, Baahubali is getting bigger and bigger. Even after two-weeks of successful run, SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali continues to hit the headlines and ring in new records. Setting a new record, Baahubali has now entered the Guinness Book of World Records. Global United Media, which distributed the film in Malayalam, erected world’s largest movie poster and thus entered the Guinness Book of World Records. With 4,793.65 square meters, it turns out to be the world’s largest movie poster.
Guinness World Records has corroborated the same and posted it on its website sharing the world’s largest poster of Baahubali on its page. It wrote, ‘The largest poster has an area of 4,793.65 m²(51,598.21 ft²) and was achieved by Global United Media Company Pvt Ltd (India) in Kochi, India, on 27 June 2015.’
SS Rajamouli and his team are naturally on cloud nine who are already basking in the stupendous success of the film which said to have collected over Rs 300 Crore. Sharing the news, Rajamouli thanked the film’s Malayalam partner for achieveing this feat. He wrote, ‘Now it is officially awarded by Guinness World Records.. Congratulations to Mr. Prem Menon and his team at Global United Media, Malayalam partners of Baahubali.’
