It’s a tradition to worship with Ganesh idols during Vinayaka Chavithi. However, as per the latest trends, different Ganesh idols have been available in markets.
Last year during the season of Baahubali, many Baahubali shaped Ganesh idols have been made and they became the talk of Telugu states. Now Warangal district collector Amrapali Kata is making into the news during the festival season this year. A lot of Ganesh idols relaxing on the lap of a woman resembling Amrapali idols are being made which are now all over the market. Some of them captured them through the pictures and posted on social media after which they have been widely circulated.
Popular lady IAS officer Amrapali has been widely appreciated for her boldness and dashing attitude. She even surprises in modern attire which made her an icon in the political circles. She is a huge disciple of Lord Buddha and works dynamically with an everlasting smile which won the hearts of many. She turned out to be an inspiration for many and stepping ahead for Ganesh Chaturthi, now some Ganesh idols along with Amrapali are doing rounds which reveal about her craze.
On the other hand, will people ever stop idolizing their cinema idols and bureaucrats in this way? Definitely, for the persons who are being converted into idols, it is an embarrassing moment.
