Baahubali Screening: Royal Albert Hall Reverberates With Screams

In its 148 years old history, Royal Albert Hall never witnessed a non-English film being screened and for the first time ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’ has done that feat. At a time when Telugu film industry’s representation is completely ignored at PM Modi’s special meeting with creative folks, SS Rajamouli made sure that the pride of Telugus resonates in London, UK.

Top Indian journalists working in international range media houses have taken to social media to explain that Baahubali screening is nothing but terrific. Not just the live-orchestra played the music of the film very well, but the Telugu fans attending the event have kept screaming, shouting, whistling, clapping, cheering and made all kinds of noise as if that is Satyam theatre in Hyderabad. This electric atmosphere explains the love of Telugu folks for cinema.

Many media folks have pointed out that Prabhas received a terrific response whenever he appeared on screen as fans made to Albert Hall on Saturday evening. Surely the world that resides in London has known what Telugu cinema means, and what a Telugu filmmaker like Rajamouli could do.
