Discontent over not allotting party ticket, veteran Telugu comedian and former MLA Babu Mohan quit the TRS. He was elected as MLA from Andhol assembly constituency in KCR’s native district of Medak in 2014 elections.
In the 105 candidate list announced recently, the TRS Chief removed skips Babu Mohan name, allegedly due to he failed to perform up to the expectations of the people in the constituency.
Reports says Babu Mohan already approached BJP State President K Laxman and went to Delhi to meet party National President Amit Shah. He is likely to join the saffron party in one or two days. He will be given a key post in Telangana BJP and fight elections from any one of the assembly segments in KCR’s district.
