TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu’s tour of the capital city, Amaravati has brought a tense atmosphere. With YSRCP minister Botsa calling Amaravati, a graveyard, TDP wants to give a befitting reply to the ruling party with this tour.
However, Chandrababu’s visit has divided the farmers of this region into two groups. One group is favoring the YSRCP and the other is TDP. Pro YSRCP group has put up banners against Chandrababu’s and they tried to storm into the convoy of the opposition leader. Slippers and sticks were thrown on the bus in which Babu was travelling.
As the situation was turning severe tense, the police stepped into action. They pushed the farmers away from Chandrababu’s convoy. Getting to know this, the TDP supporters to reached in large number. At Venkatapalem, YSRCP and TDP supporters clashed.
Before starting the visit, Chandrababu had a look at the Praja Vedika that was ordered to be razed by CM YS Jagan.
