Despite mixed talk, Baaghi, the film that marks Tollywood star Sudheer Babu’s Bollywood entry as a baddie is making strong business at box office. Baaghi collections have crossed Rs 50 crores mark in just five days of its release.Baaghi starring Tiger Shroff, Shraddha Kapoor in lead roles is doing remarkable business in single screens and small towns, as per trade pundits. The romantic action drama directed by Sabbir Khan is turning out to be a profitable venture for producers.
The film earned Rs 6.72 cr on Monday, while on Tuesday it raked Rs 5.77 cr, making the total collections of the film to Rs 51.07 Cr. Baaghi is inspired by Telugu film Varsham. Telugu star Sudheer Babu portrayed the role of Gopichand in the Hindi version. In fact, Bollywood is going gaga over Sudheer Babu for his daredevil stunts and villainy acts.
Sudheer Babu will next feature in Telugu-Hindi biopic on Badminton player Pullela Gopichand. He has also signed a film with debutante director Sriram Reddy who was co-director for his last Telugu movie Bhale Manchi Roju.
