Upon facing flak for justifying the sequence in which Hero slaps Heroine in ‘Kabir Singh’, Sandeep Reddy Vanga told his comments were blown out of proportion and he just spoke about the freedom of expression between two individuals in love. ‘What’s shown in the film isn’t an assault. It’s not like assaulting after getting drunk. Just the liberty of expression between lovers who are deeply connected. I am not taking sides here, spoke for both man and woman. Unfortunately, I was misquoted,’ he clarified.
