The long-awaited on-screen debut of Nandamuri Balakrishna’s son Mokshagna has been delayed for several years. Every now and then, news about his launch surfaces, but the projects fail to move forward for one reason or another. Now, Balakrishna himself has once again brought the topic back into the limelight.
Speaking to the media at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa, Balakrishna confirmed that he will be making a sequel to Aditya 369 with Mokshagna. He also revealed the title—Aditya 999 Max. Though Balakrishna had mentioned this project earlier, his latest statement has sparked fresh discussions among fans, raising hopes that this might finally mark Mokshagna’s long-delayed debut.
Last year, the buzz was that Mokshagna would debut under Prashant Varma’s direction, with Aditya 999 planned as his second film. However, Mokshagna eventually opted out of the Prashant Varma project. Later, rumours surfaced that he wanted to debut with a love story, prompting many to assume that Aditya 999 might not be his launch film after all.
But now, with Balakrishna once again speaking about Aditya 999 Max, fans are wondering whether this will indeed be Mokshagna’s first film. Although Balakrishna did not officially confirm it as the debut project, social media is already buzzing with speculation.
For now, all eyes are on an official announcement regarding Mokshagna’s entry into films. Whether clarity will come soon remains to be seen.
