But when people dug deeper, the story took a surprising turn. The fan Balayya reprimanded is actually one of his most dedicated admirers — someone who practically worships him. This young man follows Balakrishna to every event across the country, buying flight tickets with his own money just to catch a glimpse of his favourite star.
Even for the Vizag event, he flew all the way from Hyderabad, again at his own expense. He’s known for attending these events carrying sweet packets, which he distributes to people around, purely out of devotion.
Many have advised him not to spend so much of his own money, but his admiration remains unchanged. Maybe Balakrishna scolded him with the same intention — out of concern — or perhaps something else triggered the moment. The exact reason is still unclear.
What remains undeniable, though, is the depth of emotion fan love carries. It may seem over the top, but for fans, it’s a heartfelt bond that needs no explanation.
