Nandamuri Balakrishna issued a strong warning after learning that a man named Ashwin Atluri was allegedly using the name of Basavatarakam Indo-American Cancer Hospital to collect donations. Balakrishna, who serves on the hospital’s board, was informed that an event titled Bangaru Balayya – Basavatarakam Event was being promoted without any approval from him or the trust.

Taking to Facebook, Balakrishna clarified that he has not authorized any such program and that the hospital trust has absolutely no link to it. He urged people not to fall prey to such scams and reminded everyone that all genuine fundraising activities connected to the hospital are conducted only through official and verified sources.

He also advised the public to stay alert, stressing that fraudulent campaigns like these exploit the trust of people and must be dealt with strictly. His cautionary message quickly went viral on social media, raising awareness about the issue.

On the professional front, Balakrishna is currently shooting for Akhanda 2 with director Boyapati Srinu. The film’s teaser, featuring Adi Pinisetty as the antagonist, has already received a tremendous response. While the movie was initially planned for a September 25 release, there is buzz that the date could be postponed. Fans, however, are eagerly waiting to see Balakrishna return to action on the big screen.
