Balakrishna’s Akhanda 2 Races Ahead: Aghora Returns!

Nandamuri Balakrishna is in unstoppable form following the phenomenal success of his talk show Unstoppable. With all eyes now set on Akhanda 2, the film’s shoot is progressing at an unexpectedly rapid pace. Reports suggest that Balayya even declined a cameo role in Sunny Deol’s upcoming Bollywood film Jaat, possibly to stay fully committed to Akhanda 2 without any distractions.

In the original Akhanda, Balakrishna mesmerized audiences with a powerful dual role, particularly as the fierce and mystical Aghora. Now, that same electrifying presence is making a grand comeback in the sequel. Under Boyapati Sreenu’s direction, the team has strategically prioritized the Aghora portions, with most of those sequences already wrapped up, except for a few action scenes. Interestingly, the remaining high-octane action sequences are expected to be filmed using body doubles, allowing Balakrishna to shift focus to his second character’s storyline. As per sources from the sets, the talkie portions are expected to be completed by June.

Adding to the excitement, S. Thaman is once again handling the music, and with powerhouse producers Ram and Gopichand Achanta backing the film under 14 Reels, expectations are at an all-time high. Meanwhile, April 4 holds special significance for Balayya fans, as his cult classic Aditya 369 has been re-released across Telugu states, creating a wave of nostalgia.

With Balayya’s unstoppable momentum, Akhanda 2 is shaping up to be an electrifying experience, and the roar of Balayya is coming sooner than expected!
