From being inseparable siblings until 2019, YS Jagan and his sister Sharmila have now become political and personal rivals. Their relationship has soured to the extent that they no longer acknowledge each other. This was evident in Sharmila’s latest press meeting, where she openly criticized Jagan.
Sharmila alleged that Jagan ignored the property distribution instructions given by their father, YSR. “Not a single asset that rightfully belonged to me was given by Jagan Reddy,” she stated. She specifically highlighted the Saraswati Cement property dispute, calling it a pre-planned scheme by Jagan to sideline her. “That property was meant to be in my share, but Jagan transferred it as a gift deed to my mother, ensuring that I wouldn’t receive a single rupee. Later, he even took the shocking step of filing a case against our mother to reclaim the same property,” she added.
Expressing her disappointment, Sharmila remarked that she no longer expects Jagan to return any of the properties. However, she strongly condemned his actions, saying, “Jagan will go down in history as a man who cheated his own mother, dragged her to court, and deprived his nephew and niece of their rightful inheritance. He didn’t even consider their future while holding on to what was supposed to be my rightful share.”
Sharmila’s words reflect deep betrayal and resentment, as she accuses Jagan of completely sidelining her and her children. She even seemed to brand him as a “cruel Menamama” who had no concern for his own Menalludu and Menakodalu.
Despite her repeated efforts, Sharmila now appears to have lost all hope of reclaiming what she believes is rightfully hers, indicating that Jagan has no intention of making amends.
