Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Akhanda is close to completion of shoot. The unit will be resuming one of the final schedules in the next couple of weeks and Balayya will take part in it.
Meanwhile, the makers of the action thriller are working on locking the release date for the film.
As per reports, the makers are considering the option of releasing the film this Vinayaka Chavithi season, which falls in the second week of September.
In all likelihood, Akhanda will be making it to theatres early this September. An official announcement on the release date will be made soon.
Cinema halls are set to be re-opened in Telangana very soon and even Andhra Pradesh government might permit cinema screenings if the Covid curve continues to show a downward curve.
Much like Akhanda, many other films are on the verge of locking release dates very soon.
