Hero and Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna faced a backlash from people of his own constituency as he was heckled by villagers. This incident took place when Balayya was on his way to attend a private event in Hindupur.
On Thursday from Bengaluru, NBK reached Hindupur by road. At Kodikonda check post, villagers of Galibipalli stopped his vehicle and expressed their anger over slow progress of developmental works. The villagers mainly pointed out at the road facility for which the foundation stone was laid about a year back and is yet to get completed.
Balakrishna got down from his vehicle and spoke to few villagers. After listening to their plight, NBK assured the villagers that he will do whatever is needed to complete the laying of road and also other works. He said he would speak to the concerned officials.
The Hindupur MLA was attending the wedding ceremony of TDP spokesperson Ramesh’s daughter.
