Balayya’s son-in-law to get MP ticket?

After the demise of GITAM founder and former TDP MLC, MVSS Murthy, speculation is rife that Nandamuri Balakrishna’s second son-in-law Sri Bharath is being considered by the TDP High Command for the Vizag MP seat. Sri Bharath is the grandson of MVSS Murthy and the husband of Balayya’s daughter, Tejaswini.

It has been a tradition in Telugu Desam Party to give ticket to a family member of the leader in case of sudden demise. The same worked in case of Rammohan Naidu, son of Yerran Naidu, in case of Bhuma Akhila Priya, daughter of Bhuma and Shobha Nagi Reddy and now, with Sri Bharath.

If the TDP zeroes in on Sri Bharath, interestingly, Balayya’s both sons-in-law will be public representatives from the family as TDP is planning to field Nara Lokesh from Kuppam constituency as MLA. Meanwhile, it is a well-known fact that Balayya is also an MLA from Hindupur.

Looks like politics is going to be a full-time vocation for Nara-Nandamuri families in the coming future, even as Kalyan Ram is set to enter the fray in Telangana elections.
