Telangana BJP chief Bandi Sanjay is quite happy with the turnout at the Vijay Sankalp Yatra on Parade Grounds. But, he is also quite serious about the booths that were under-represented. He is said to be quite upset with some district party presidents, who did not do enough mobilization for the meeting.
Bandi Sajay is said to be very unhappy with several district unit presidents, who have not done enough ground work to mobilise the crowds. He is said to have asked the party network to collect details about the district presidents who have not actively participated in the crowd mobilization. He is said to be planning to replace these under-performing district presidents.
Highly placed sources say that a list has already been drawn up and these presidents would be replaced with young leaders. This is said to be in keeping with the BJP’s practice of bringing in young leaders. The party wants to ensure that there are young leaders at the helm in the districts.
The party is also taking into account the reports furnished by the National Executive Committee meeting’s delegates, who have visited almost every assembly constituency to take stock of the party situation. Several delegates, who visited the rural areas, are said to have expressed dissatisfaction over the mobilization in some regions of the state. Sanjay is said to have decided to remove the presidents whose work he is not satisfied with.
