Tollywood actor-producer Bandla Ganesh on Monday filed nomination for the general secretary post of the Movie Artistes’ Association (MAA). He said that no one could stop his victory. If he wins, Bandla promised to construct 100 double-bedroom houses for poor MAA artistes.
“I do not lie. MAA needs a building. However, at present, it is not possible to build a palace in an area like Jubilee Hills. It is not known whether the government will allocate space. My opinion is to take up space in remote area like Kokapeta and build double ‘bedroom’ houses for 100 poor artists,” Bandla said.
“Going abroad somewhere for funds. Is that necessary? There are many entertaining artists in the Telugu film industry. What is the need to go to someone else and bring in funds like that? Our heroes are gold mines. Kohinoor diamonds. If those diamonds shine, many buildings can be built,” Bandla added.
The main contenders for the Presidential post include Prakash Raj and Manchu Vishnu. The election will be held on October 10th, 2021, between 8 am to 2 pm at Jubilee Hills Public School, Hyderabad.
