The Andhra Pradesh government felicitated Supreme Court Judge Prashant Kumar Mishra. To honour him, a state reception was also held.’A’ Convention Centre in Vijayawada became the venue for the reception. YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and his wife YS Bharathi went to Vijayawada City from the CM camp office in Tadepalli. When Justice Prashant Kumar Mishra reached the convention center, YS Jagan warmly welcomed him. Jagan presented a flower bouquet to the Judge. After felicitation, he presented him with an idol of Lord Venkateswara Swamy.

Prashant Kumar Mishra is from Chhattisgarh. He practiced in Raigarh district court, Madhya Pradesh High Court In Jabalpur, and Chhattisgarh High Court in Bilaspur. He served as Chhattisgarh Bar Council Chairman. Before becoming Judge, he worked as Advocate General. He served as temporary Chief Justice of Chhattisgarh High Court from 2021, June 1. Later, he served as the AP High Court CJ and was promoted as Supreme Court Judge.
