Indians are taking world software and technology arena by storm. Even before one could rejoice Satya Nadella becoming the CEO of software giant Microsoft, it is now emerging that Oracle is all set to have Indian as its President. Buzz is Oracle Corp has promoted its executive Thomas Kurian to be the president of the company to oversee its software development activities.
Kurian’s elevation to the top post comes four months after Larry Ellison, company’s longtime Chief Executive Officer took charge as executive chairman, handing over his responsibilities as CEO to his lieutenants Mark Hurd and Safra Catz.
47 years old Kurian joined Oracle in 1996 and earlier handled charge as company’s executive vice president in charge of product development. Kurian after completing his schooling in St Josephs Boys School in Banglore, later had MBA from Stanford University.
