Police have confirmed that former AP minister Bhuma Akhila Priya is the main accused in the kidnapping case of close relatives of CM KCR. At first, the police named AV Subbareddy as A1, Akhilapriya as A2, and Akhil Priya’s husband Bhargavaram as A3.
However, in the remand report, Akhilapriya was made A1. Former hockey player Praveen Rao and his brothers have been kidnapped by about 15 people. They were then taken to a farmhouse where they were forced to sign on blank documents.
Subbareddy, who is now A2, was interrogated and given notice under CRPC41 and released.
Police are still searching for Bhargavram. Meanwhile, the lawyers have filed a petition in the court for Akhil Priya’s bail.
Earlier, her family members reported that she was pregnant. However, the information that doctors have confirmed was that there is no such thing.
On the other hand, all the lawyers asked the court to grant her bail as she was not in good health.
The Secunderabad court, which directed the police to file a counterclaim, adjourned the hearing to Friday.
