Bhumi padnekar urges the nation to unite to save the planet

Actress Bhumi Padnekar urges the whole nation to become environmental conscious.The ‘Baal’ entertainer is hoping to unite the bigwigs of the film business to spread awareness for nature preservation.

She is an environmental activist, who runs her own non-benefit firm “Climate warrior” that praises genuine legends paving way for setting a trail to initiate environmental change and furthermore instigates to connect with and motivate the young people towards this great move.

On this World Environment Day falling on 5th June, Bhumi is straining every nerve to spread the message in a strong way. She began with an insta video saying, “Dear earthlings what is your one wish for the planet?” a question posed to everyone about what they could do to save the planet. She reiterated that mankind overlook the threat that has been happening in the nature. There are measures being taken, nonetheless no technology can reverse the damage happened till date.

Bhumi further added saying that Climate change, as a concept, is still not considered by many people as a real issue today and is difficult to comprehend how large it is. “There are such varied and grave climatic issues that are happening across the globe like increase of famines, forest fires, droughts, floods, melting ice caps, sea levels rise, food and crop destruction, heat waves across countries and continents, etc,” told the actor.

The video shared on her social media profile has grabbed a lot of attention from her fans and other environmentalists. The actor said that her NGO “climate warrior” wishes to direct a campaign that propels big leaders from the B-town to tell the world what is the ‘one wish they have for the earth’. She insisted to take this pledge for climate improvement by uniting everyone to save our planet.
