The Andhra Pradesh High Court has taken up the withdrawal of prosecution in previously registered cases against CM Jagan as Sumoto. The AP government has withdrawn prosecution in 11 cases in Anantapur and Guntur districts. The Andhra Pradesh High Court received complaints that the cases were illegally withdrawn without the permission of the people who complained.
The AP High court ordered the committee to submit details on this. The committee which examined the complaints submitted a report to the High court. Based on the committee report, the High Court will hold a hearing on Sumoto. The issue taken up as Sumoto by the High court issued notices to the government and the rest of the people involved in the cases.
