Kavitha got the required relief she had been waiting for as she was granted bail. The Supreme Court heard the petition in the ED case and granted her bail. All eyes were on the Supreme Court to see what would be the verdict. She got a big relief as the Apex Court gave her the bail.
Mukul Rohatgi represented Kavitha in the court while SV Raju represented ED. It is said that intense arguments took place in the court between them. The bench was satisfied with the arguments of Mukul Rohatgi that Kavitha is eligible to get bail.
What’s a big relief is that the Supreme Court granted bail to Kavitha in both ED and CBI cases as reported by Eenadu. With this, she can walk out of the Tihar Jail after spending a few months in prison. Kavitha was arrested by the ED back in March. After raids, she was taken into custody and taken to Delhi. She was produced before the Court and she was sent to custody. Adding more troubles to her the CBI came into the picture and arrested her despite being in ED custody. This added issues to her release from the Tihar jail as she had to get bail in two cases. Now she got relief with the Supreme Court granting the bail.
