Superstar Rajnikanth’s ‘Lingaa’ producer Rockline Venkatesh has finally opened up the controversy raked up by distributors of Tamilnadu. In a sensational claim, he accused that few big forces in sambar land that don’t want Rajni to spin a magic on the political stage are behind all these agitations of Lingaa distributors. ‘In 2016, Tamilnadu is set for assembly elections.
Those people who don’t want Rajnikanth’s entry into politics are now trying to tarnish his image by raking up these unnecessary issues. This is a conspiracy’, accused Venkatesh, confirming that he will no way repay any distributor. ‘As Rajni is 64 now, he shouldn’t miss the chance to enter politics. Millions of fans like me are waiting for his political entry.
That’s the reason these distributors are trying to malign Superstar’s image’, he added further. Earlier, Singaravelan, a distributor from Trichy in Tamilnadu took a hunger strike demanding Rockline Venkatesh repay the loss caused by Lingaa’s failure at box office before breathing fire on Rajni for not intervening into the mater.
‘We’ve informed in prior that Lingaa will hit screens on December 12. How would a distributor claim losses just on third day of release itself? Being insider, Singaravelan knows that it takes 2-3 weeks time to amass the investment. But it is sad that he started promoting negatively about the flick in no time’, adds Venkatesh. Also he pointed out that the agreement with distributors provides no clause for refund of pay in case of movie’s failure.
