Charming star Sharwa has joined hands with director Sampath Nandi for the first time for the pan-India period action drama Bhogi.

The film, mounted on a grand scale by KK Radhamohan under the Sri Sathya Sai Arts banner, has already created strong buzz. The recently released first-look poster received an impressive response, further raising expectations on the project.

Now, the team has unveiled Anupama Parameswaran’s character as Kandula Sulochana Rani, offering a glimpse into a deeply rooted rural role.

Her first look presents her as a resilient village woman shaped by hardship and tradition. Walking barefoot on a dusty rural path, she is seen carrying Moduga leaves in a basket on her head, while holding a rustic tiffin box in one hand and a bundle of foliage in the other. Dressed in a traditional half-saree, her intense gaze reflects strength forged through everyday struggles.

Set against a backdrop of mud houses, cattle, and wooden fences, the visuals beautifully capture the raw essence of village life. Sulochana appears to be the emotional core of the story’s world. Anupama has reportedly immersed herself in the role, mastering the dialect, body language, and emotional depth to bring authenticity to the character.

After completing intense action schedules in Rajamahendravaram, Rampachodavaram, and the dense forests of Maredumilli, the team is now preparing for the next shooting schedule in Hyderabad, set to begin in early May.
