The advance bookings for RRR in Telugu are happening at phenomenal pace.
Almost all the theatres are screening the shows from 6:30 AM onwards and the shows are sold out in full in advance. The rampage is continuing on Saturday and Sunday as well.
But surprisingly there is funeral silence for the advance bookings in North India including Delhi (NCR), Mumbai, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Kolkata and Lucknow.
Though the film is coming up from the director of Baahubali, the North Indian audience in the Hindi belt seems to be not paying attention to this.
Though Ram Charan (worked in Zanjeer long time ago) and NTR are not much known to the Hindi audience, the female lead Alia Bhatt and the other key actor Ajay Devgn are the popular faces to them. But still, the advance bookings are frightening the exhibitors all over.
On the other hand, Kashmir Files is continuing its run aggressively throughout North India.
In spite of completing the second week, the film is increasing its collections which hardly happens for any theatrical release.
The film is being watched by elderly members in the families with the interest on history. The publicity for this film was done organically right from Parliament as well.
Trade pundits say that the run of Kashmir Files seems to go aggressive the coming weekend as well. If that happens, then RRR has to bow down to the power of Kashmir Files.
The profitability of RRR depends only on the collections from Hindi belt as the business from Telugu states and down South can only compensate the costs.
