Thaman expressed his concerns about how social media negativity is affecting the film industry, particularly targeting producers. He emphasized that a producer today struggles to celebrate their own success due to the constant trolling and negative tags.

“Telugu cinema is shining globally, with technicians from other industries eager to work here. Yet, we are undermining our own cinema with unnecessary negativity. Fan wars are fine, but respecting producers and the cinema they create is our collective responsibility. I am deeply hurt and frustrated by these trolls and negative trends,” Thaman stated passionately.

Thaman, known for his upbeat demeanor, admitted that he usually avoids serious speeches but felt it was crucial to address this unhealthy trend. He concluded by calling on everyone to appreciate the hard work that goes into making films and to stop harming the industry with baseless negativity.
