The Nagarjunasagar by-polls will be held on April 17th and the results will be announced on May 2nd. The BJP did not announce its candidate till the last minute. Bharatiya Janatha Party decided to announce its candidate only after the TRS announces its candidate.
Finally, the BJP announced Dr.Ravikumar as their candidate for the upcoming Nagarjunasagar by-election.
Recently, TRS announced Nomula Bhagat, son of late sitting MLA Nomula Narasimhayya. Within hours of announcing the TRS candidate, the BJP announced its candidate. The BJP has announced Dr. Ravikumar Nayak, who joined the BJP from the Congress party.
In the past, BJP won the Dubaka Assembly position. However, the BJP is persevering to win the Nagarjunasagar by-election, similar to Dubbaka.
