The former captain of Indian Cricket team, Sourav Ganguly, known for his love towards mean machines, was spotted getting down of a taxi to make it on time for BCCI meeting in Kolkata.
Ganguly, who is also called as ‘Prince of Kolkata,’ took a taxi when his BMW broke down midway on Lee Road.People outside the five star hotel were stunned to see Ganguly getting down a taxi. He then as CAB (cricket association of Bengal) president chaired the meeting of technical committee of BCCI.
Recently, Ganguly was caught up in a scuffle over train berth while he was travelling in train first time after 2001. He was travelling to Balurghat to unveil his bronze statue.
The eight-foot tall statue at Bikash Maidan witnessed many of Ganguly’s fans wIting to have a glimpse of Ganguly. Surprisingly, Sushanta Pal, who sculpted the bronze statue, never met Ganguly.
