Qualcomm hosted the third edition of the Snapdragon for India event on May 7, unveiling its latest generation chips across smartphones and the audio segment. During the event, boAt’s Chief Product Officer Shyam Vedantam announced the integration of Snapdragon Sound technology into the brand’s premium Nirvana by boAt lineup.

The Nirvana series represents boAt’s premium audio segment, and with this new collaboration, the company aims to deliver a more immersive and high-fidelity wireless audio experience. As part of this development, boAt is preparing to launch the Nirvana Eutopia 2 Pro headphones, which promise studio-grade sound quality.

According to Vedantam, the new headphones leverage Snapdragon Sound along with Qualcomm aptX Lossless technology to deliver clearer, more detailed audio, near-lossless wireless playback, and ultra-low latency performance—especially useful for gaming and video streaming. The system also uses Qualcomm Bluetooth High Speed Link to ensure stable and glitch-free connectivity even in crowded environments.

He further stated that the collaboration reflects deep engineering integration between boAt and Qualcomm Technologies, with optimizations across codecs and connectivity layers to ensure consistent high-fidelity audio performance.

The headphones will be powered by the Snapdragon S3 Gen 1 platform, supporting 16-bit 44.1kHz CD-quality lossless audio as well as 24-bit 96kHz high-resolution wireless playback.

In addition, the device is expected to feature a dedicated gaming mode with 68ms low-latency audio and voice back-channel support for seamless in-game communication. It will also include multipoint Bluetooth connectivity and third-generation adaptive ANC to effectively reduce environmental noise.

While the Nirvana Eutopia 2 Pro has been officially teased, the company confirmed that the product will launch in the second half of 2026. Despite its premium feature set, it is expected to be positioned competitively in the market, continuing boAt’s focus on value-driven innovation in the audio segment.
