Director KS Ravindra, popularly known as Bobby Kolli, is celebrated as one of the top commercial filmmakers in the industry. He made his debut with Power and has since delivered multiple hits, including the blockbuster Waltair Veerayya with Megastar Chiranjeevi.
Waltair Veerayya, which released in 2023, became a massive success. Recently, Bobby added another blockbuster to his name with Daaku Maharaaj, starring Balakrishna Nandamuri. To celebrate this milestone, Bobby shared a heartfelt post on X (formerly Twitter), along with a picture where both Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna are seen affectionately kissing him on the cheeks.
In his post, Bobby wrote, “It has been two years since our blockbuster #WaltairVeerayya. On this day in 2023, we achieved great success. Now, in 2025, history repeats with #DaakuMaharaaj. Working with legends like Megastar @KChiruTweets Garu and Natasimham #NandamuriBalakrishna Garu is a dream come true. Special thanks to my dear Mass Maharaja @RaviTeja_offl Garu for his unwavering support.”
He also expressed gratitude to producers Naveen Yerneni and Ravi Shankar, as well as the team behind Waltair Veerayya, including Devi Sri Prasad, Shruti Haasan, Catherine Tresa, Arthur Woson, and AS Prakash, for their contributions. While Bobby hasn’t officially announced his next project, there is speculation about him working on a prequel to Daaku Maharaaj, which has fans eagerly awaiting updates.
