Boda Janardhan to Join Kavitha’s TRS, Boost in Telangana

The newly formed Telangana Rakshana Samithi (TRS), led by Kalvakuntla Kavitha, is beginning to attract leaders from her parent party, the Bharat Rashtra Samithi, signaling early momentum for the new political platform.

Senior politician Boda Janardhan recently announced his decision to join the party. He met Kavitha at the party office in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, where the two held detailed discussions on the party’s future strategy.

After the meeting, Janardhan confirmed that he would soon formally enter the party along with his supporters. He also stated that his immediate focus would be on strengthening the party’s presence in the politically crucial Singareni coal belt region.

A veteran leader, Janardhan has been elected four times as an MLA from the Chennur Assembly constituency in Mancherial district, representing the Telugu Desam Party. He also served as Labour Minister during the tenure of former Chief Minister N. T. Rama Rao.

Political observers believe that his entry could significantly boost Kavitha’s party, particularly in northern Telangana. His experience, combined with a strong grassroots network, is expected to enhance the party’s organisational strength and expand its reach in key constituencies.

This development comes after earlier support from former Both MLA Rathod Bapurao, suggesting a gradual consolidation of leadership around Kavitha’s new political venture.
