Gunasekhar is making all efforts to make his Rudramma Devi lavish. After roping in several bigwigs of Telugu industry in to the project, he now set his eyes on Bollywood. For the role of Mahadeva Nayakudu, one of the Yadava Kings who waged a war against Rudrama Devi, he had signed Vikramjeet Virk who earlier played an important role in Ashutosh Gowarikar’s Khele Hum Jee Jaan Sey. The principal shooting of the movie began few days ago.

The film has Anushka, Rana in lead roles and Krishnam Raju, Prakash Raj, Nathalia Kaur, Aditi Chengappa, Hamsa Nandini, Zara Shah, Jayaprakash Reddy will play other important roles. Thota Tharani is the art director and Ajay Vincent is the cinematographer. Ilayaraja is the music composer.
