Bollywood’s long-discussed intersections with the underworld and drug networks have resurfaced as the Mumbai Police investigates a massive ₹252 crore drug racket allegedly involving several public figures. According to reports, the names of actors Shraddha Kapoor, her brother Siddhant Kapoor, Nora Fatehi, social media personality Orry, filmmaker duo Abbas–Mustan, and the late politician Baba Siddique’s son Zeeshan Siddique have emerged during the preliminary inquiry.
The case reportedly centres around a series of high-profile parties held in Mumbai and Dubai. These events were allegedly organised by Mohammad Salim Mohammad Suhail Shaikh, believed to be a close associate of Salim Dola—an aide of underworld fugitive Dawood Ibrahim.
Investigators have also noted that Alish Parker, son of Dawood Ibrahim’s late sister Haseena Parker, is said to have attended these gatherings. Notably, Shraddha Kapoor portrayed Haseena Parker in a biographical film released in 2017.
While speculation grows, officials have clarified that the investigation remains in its primary stage. Celebrities whose names have surfaced may be called for questioning if deemed necessary. In the midst of these developments, Nora Fatehi has publicly dismissed the circulating reports through an Instagram story.
