As the Andhra Pradesh government is gearing up for the Cabinet reshuffle, the existing Cabinet met for the last meeting earlier today. The meeting was chaired under the leadership of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at the Chief Minister’s camp office in Tadepalli.
To pave a way for the new team to take charge as the Cabinet Ministers, the current Ministers have reportedly resigned from the posts. Hence they were informed in advance, they went to the meeting along with their resignation letters.
Following the procedure, the resignation letters will be sent to Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan to get his approval. Only after his approval, the new cabinet can be formed. As CM Jagan is expected to meet the Governor tomorrow, he might discuss the issue with the Governor.
It is said that the new Cabinet will be formed on the 11th of this month. The work of finalizing the candidates has been made already and the list will be out in a few days.
The government is said to have worked extensively on preparing the candidates list considering various issues as the new districts came into existence. To give equal representation to every district, the list has been made looking at various aspects.
