As excitement builds nationwide for the paid premiere shows of Dhurandhar: The Revenge starring Ranveer Singh, fans in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana faced disappointment as the regional language screenings were cancelled just hours before their scheduled start.

Exhibitors confirmed that these regional shows have been replaced by the original Hindi version, and refunds are being processed for affected ticket holders. They also stated that Hindi paid previews will be held in place of the cancelled shows and apologized for the inconvenience.

Reports suggest the delay was caused by holdups in delivering the content to theatres. The Hindi version of Dhurandhar 2 was only sent to cinemas across the country an hour before the premieres, while the subtitle and dubbed packages for Tamil and Telugu versions are still pending. The incomplete dubbing and post-production work made it impossible to screen the film in regional languages, leading to the last-minute cancellations.

In Dhurandhar 2, Ranveer Singh reprises his role as Indian spy Jaskirat Singh Rangi, going deep undercover in Pakistan’s Lyari—a town notorious for gang wars—where he assumes the identity of Hamza Ali Mazari, delivering a gripping action-packed performance.
