Andhra Pradesh government headed by Chandra Babu Naidu according to reliable sources is planning to erect an extravagant statue of former CM NTR. Insiders say AP govt is planning to erect huge statue on Godavari River which separates East and West Godavari districts.
The govt wants the statute to become the hallmark just like Buddha Statue in Hussainsagar, Hyderabad. Earlier there were reports that the statute would be build in the capital region but now govt feels Godavari is the right place.
A B.Tech Student from Rajahmundry submitted a plan to CM Chandra Babu and he is really impressed with the proposal. He is planning to make people part of the project in the lines of Gujarat government collecting iron for Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Statue.
