Reflecting on his filmmaking journey, Mukesh shared, “Though I live in Mumbai, it wasn’t easy to come all the way here and make a movie. But they trusted me. Mohan Babu garu is like a coconut — hard on the outside but very soft on the inside.” He also praised Manchu Vishnu’s performance, calling it a treat to watch and assured the audience they would love witnessing him in this new avatar.

“You are all eagerly waiting for Prabhas,” Mukesh acknowledged with a smile, “but every character in the film plays an important role. They are all deeply connected to the story.” The director also expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to work with so many legends on this project.

He described Manchu Vishnu as a humble and simple person, and lauded Stephen Devassy for his exceptional work on the music — both the songs and the background score — calling him a huge asset to Kannappa.

Mukesh Kumar Singh, who previously directed the Mahabharat television series, was given this rare chance by Mohan Babu and completed the film with utmost devotion. Vishnu’s transformation into Kannappa is already generating buzz, and with just one week left until release, the team is highly confident that the movie will impress audiences.
