BVS Ravi’s Hopes Turn Into Despair!

BVS Ravi is one of the most well known writers in Tollywood. He has been in the film industry for a long time and attempted to turn into a director too. His ‘Jawaan’ with Sai Dharam Tej ended up being a failure. Prior to that, he handled the megaphone for ‘Wanted’ which starred Gopichand and Deeksha Seth in the lead. Even this film was a big failure.

With the hopes of making it big as a director fading away, he tried to score a big hit as a writer. According to the sources, he penned a beautiful story which impressed a star producer like Dil Raju so much that he wanted to bankroll it. This gave birth to ‘Thank You’ which is running in theatres right now. A talented filmmaker like Vikram Kumar was roped in for handling the megaphone.

But things went wrong and grapevine suggests that what was on the paper failed to translate on the screens. While some report that it is the writer’s over involvement that ruined the film, a few others hint that the director failed to do justice to the writer’s soulful story. However it is, the movie ended up being a disappointment and may even end up in losses.

BVS Ravi is also facing the effects of ‘Thank You’ result as he is too involved in the promotions and made some attention grabbing tweets too. News is that Dil Raju wanted to make a movie with Balakrishna under Ravi’s direction. Since BVS Ravi is in the good books of Balayya because of his work as a writer for ‘Unstoppable’, the possibility of the film looked encouraging. But it is to be seen how ‘Thank You’ affects BVS Ravi’s hopes of scoring a hit as a director. Only time will tell!

Coming to ‘Thank You’, Raashi Khanna, Malavika Nair and Avika Gor are the heroines in this film while Sai Sushanth Reddy plays a vital role. PC Sreeram is the director of photography while Naga Chaitanya will be seen in different looks throughout the course of this film.
