The ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine has put Indians living in Ukraine at a big risk. Acting fast to the situation, the Indian government is making efforts to airlift them. For the evacuation, special flights were being used and the Indian Air Force was also lending its helping hand.
However, there are a few allegations that the Indian government is not running the flights to Ukraine and the Indians have to reach a point from where the services are available. Despite this, the Indian government and the BJP leaders are taking full credit for evacuating the Indians, the critics and opposition allege.
Telangana IT Minister KTR also joined the force to lash out at the BJP for doing the PR stunt on the evacuation. Sharing a video KTR said that this is nothing but nonsense. As a Union Minister said that the Indians were evacuated due to PM Modi’s grace, KTR asked what has the government done in this.
The Union Minister said in Hindi that due to the grace of Prime Minister Narendra Minister, Jeevan(life) of the Indians were saved. Responding to this in a satirical way, KTR asked who is the Jeevan that got saved.
“Jeevan Bach Gaya Hai Modi Ji ki Krupa Se!!! Seriously, what a terrible way of doing PR with distressed & tired students. Heights of nonsense. By the way who is this “Jeevan” jo Bach Gaya?,” KTR said in his tweet.
On the other hand, the Indian government said that so far as many as 17,000 Indian citizens were airlifted from Ukraine. Attorney General KK Venugopal, who represented the Indian government for a case hearing, reportedly told the same to the Supreme Court.
